      Plain English: Your financial data — books, ledgers, customer details — stays yours. We use it only to generate your MIS and (if you opt in) your MUDRA-Ready Report. We never sell it, never use it to train AI models, and never share it with lenders unless you explicitly request that as part of a loan application.
    

1Who we are

Data Fiduciary: Finlyt Technologies LLP (the LLP behind FinLytTech and Shakti). Founder & CEO: Sasidharan V (CA, IIM Ahmedabad MBA). Co-founder: CA Komal Jagdish Vishwakarma. Registered correspondence: founder@finlyt.net.

2What we collect

From you on signup: name, email, mobile number, business name, optional PAN / GSTIN / Udyam number. For Samuh: SHG name, member names, savings + loan records (entered by the treasurer).

From your accounting system: if you connect Tally Prime, we read XML exports you provide. If you connect Zoho Books, we use OAuth read-only access to pull invoices, bills, ledgers, and reports.

Auto-collected: standard web analytics (page views, browser type — anonymised), and operational logs needed to deliver the service.

3What we don't collect

We do NOT collect Aadhaar numbers.
We do NOT collect bank account login credentials or net-banking passwords.
We do NOT scrape customer-of-customer personally identifiable data beyond party names already in your accounting books.

Financial books data lives in Supabase Mumbai. Only aggregated figures travel to Anthropic for narrative generation — no individual voucher detail, no customer PII beyond what's in your books, no GST / PAN / bank account numbers.

5How we use your data

Generate your MIS reports, ratios, ageing, AI commentary.
Compute your MUDRA-Ready Score (only on your explicit request).
For Samuh: produce your group's accounts and NABARD compliance report.
Send transactional emails (welcome, billing receipts, password reset).
Operational analytics — improving the product. Always aggregated. Never individually identified.

6What we never do

Never sell your data to anyone.
Never use your data to train AI models (Anthropic's API terms also prohibit this).
Never share with lenders unless you explicitly download and forward a MUDRA-Ready Report yourself.
Never use your data for marketing to third parties.

7Your DPDP rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 you have the right to:

Access — request a copy of all your data, in 30 days.
Correct — fix any inaccurate data we hold.
Erase — delete your account and your data. Cancellation triggers a 30-day export window, then full deletion.
Withdraw consent — pause AI processing or full account, anytime, from your account settings.
Nominate — appoint a person to act on your behalf in the event of incapacity.
Grievance — write to founder@finlyt.net. We respond in 7 working days.

8Samuh — SHG-specific data handling

For SHG treasurers using Samuh: member savings and internal loan entries are visible only to the treasurer's account and to authorised group members the treasurer adds. NABARD field officers see only the auto-generated compliance report you choose to share — Samuh never auto-publishes your data to NABARD or any third party.

9Children

Shakti is not directed at users under 18. We do not knowingly process data of minors.

10Changes to this policy

If we change anything material, we'll email you and post a banner on this page 30 days before it takes effect.
